Through the first year presentation, I identify and explored what is my disadvantages in presentation and Power print. During the first presentation I mention that waste to long time on the theatre moment and I did not introduce the main point of the kabuki main character. So for this time, I will focus one character Arogono (the main character in the Kabuki) and reflect out his body language, behavior and face emotions. As I mention, the actor could not bring any emotion in the play. So I will try my best to use my body language to express the character emotions and features. And for this time, I believe I will have a huge step of the evolution, and I am pretty sure it will be better than last presentation that I did.

Link: Article 1
September 8 2018
For the first assignment in the last class, we described what is the relationship between the theatre and human society. Most student answer the theatre is one way to show the audience the national group's traditional cultures. In order to understand more information about drama, I read the article from our teacher sent to us. From the article, these professional people conclude the theatre is a way to express human emotions and historical transmission, for example: In the ancient time, people used to use theatre to rebuild one of event or hero which or who is important for their countries. The theatre makes modern people start reflecting on their own and change their disadvantages. through the article and the discussion in the class, I think theatre is the most important way to show human lifestyle and the conversations around the world. It is the stronger "bridge" to collect with the whole world.

We choose the part of the Art IV and scene II, the conversation between the two women Mrs. Malaprop, Lydia and the two men sir Anthony and Absolute. This part described Mrs.Malaprop want to let Lydia get married or make a boy friend with man Absolute, however Lydia does not want to get married with Absolute or Lydia does not want to make boy friend too early. So she and Absolute make misunderstandings to the Sir Anthony and Lydia. based on the discussion we can infer the marriage is hard to control by the two litigants, and the elders only want to get benefits from anywhere. In the conclusion we can see this story is using the humorous style to describe for audiences. And each characters performance ability is stronger, for example, the sir Attorney is a serious character in this story, he tried let jack have relationships with Lydia, but his "serious" let captain absolute have to be silence.

As far as we know, the technology level is higher than before, and people created many technology Products. The VR is a machine which can let people fell the virtual reality. From this article , it shows the stronger effects for the theatre. People can create characters be fresh and exciting, and the environment could 360-degree show to the audience. Indeed, it brings much freshness to peoples. However, I think it can not instead of the real play. First, the viewers can not feel the truth from the VR, The actor's emotions can spread their feeling to audiences more easily that people will touch the time and event from the show. Second, the VR will consume more resources, and people will waste a lot of money. At last, the theatre is a tradition in the world, and nothing can instead of it.

Reflection#3
November 17 2017
Today, we performed our sketch to audiences, and the effecting are good. The only opinion from the audiences are the body language and the emotions of our face. From here, we can understand when actors cannot speak the language with each other the body language is the only way to let the audiences understand what is happened during the show. In the next time, I hope we can do the working more naturally and with more emotions. At last, I want to say I am enjoying this sketch.
Reflection#2
Novemebr 9 2017
In the second practice, our group worked on the plot of the sketch, and we tried extended it by lazzi moments. At first we considered the perspective of audiences, this is important, because we can not speak our language, we only perform our body language to let audiences understand what is happening for the event. Second, we add three moments of lazzi into the plot. At first is the Harlequin change the seat with the second character. Second is the Pantalone give the money to harlequin let him put the nail on the lover(boy) chair. And the third moment is Harlequin kick the lover and when Magnifico tries to explain the situation the lover try to switch the chair. Magnifico should be a person who can control the situation and be serious. He need be assertive and his order should without the doubt. However, this is a Commedia that I need to various changes in status. It is a challenge, but I believe we can solve it.
Reflection#1
November 7 2017
Today, we began to plan the plot of the sketch based on the typical plot of a commedia dell'arte - two students will full in love in the school. However, this situation could not happen in the school. Our group decided the theme of the high school. The Magnifico is principal. Brighella and Harlequin are the guarding of the school, Pantalone and Dottore are the parents for each lover. At first, we start to learn the body movement from each other and nonsense with others. in here it could prove the body language is the most important for the audience, the most challenge thing is how do we let other people understand our meaning from our body language. Each roles movement should be completed. In the first practice, we did a little bit chaotic. At least, we know what should we do to the next. We will try hard to perfect the play.

TOK question:
what extent is imagination a fundamental requirement for participation in the theatre?
I think everyone's imagination can create the drama anytime. But if we want to build the theater more professional, the primary requirement is the person who can imagine the story of the plot of the play , actor's custom, and the actor's emotions. After this we need to imagine what is the play's background then we can start to set the stage. At last the person should consider what is the audiences' feeling and when they watch the show, how do we let them imagine the same story as the person.
What is the social function of theatre?
October 14 2017
The theater is a fine art that uses in live performers; the actors will present the experience of the real or imagined event during the show. In the ancient time, the king used the theater to be communities with citizens. And the drama can spread stories around the world for the religious. Also, the show will be the way of the fun for the citizens; then the excitement will lead people, government and the king begin to consider the situations of the society. The stage can show peoples' emotions truly, such as: angry, happy, cry, crazy and so on. The theater can changes peoples' opinion easily which they can improve their thinking, imaginations, and skills of their acting. The Lysistrata of the Korean war will behave the most important items in the theater, and the audiences can understand the different way between the Lysistrata and the Korean war, it will reveal woman's' life and performances around the world.

Lysistrata is a comedy by Aristophanes. Originally performed in classical Athens in 411 BCE, "it is a comic account of a woman's extraordinary mission to end the Peloponnesian War by denying all the men of the land any sex, which was the only thing they truly and deeply desired"(1) And this kind of comedy is a major factor in early exposure to sexual relations In a male-dominated society. And it reflects the woman' stronger rights in the society. Also, Lysistrata is involved many countries such as Roma, Spartan, and many European countries. During the WWII the woman Lysistrata has a huge effect for the military such Japan and American. I think it might be violet, but it is interesting. bibliography (1) Resource click here |

Last week, we talked about the stage of the design and architecture style facilities. We looked at Elizabethan theatre in the class and me attractive in the building's stage, sky, interior and external part. Exauctlly I saw the scene's style very like Chinese national minority of Miao's building. It can attract the audience eye on actors easily. At the same time, it can mix a variety of elements on the stages which cause the show does not have a host of restrictions on the Story, light, actor, and choreography.
